Job Description:

• Minimum 5-8 years of software development experience of which the last (minimum) 2 years in the capacity of Project Manager from a Onsite/offshore development company. Should have played the role of Architect.
• Consult clients for understanding project scope, project requirements, time, cost & projected benefits.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop the project plan incorporating the resource, time, and skill level requirements
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Should be able to participate in reviewing functional requirements specifications created by business analysts
• Lead full software life cycle development including requirements review, system design, unit testing, release planning and system maintenance.
• Contribute to presales activities in terms of responding to RFPs, identifying growth opportunities,building relationships and identifying and nurturing the acoount.
• Schedule & assign resources for ensuring that the applications satisfy users’ needs and are completed within agreed upon time parameters
• Shall be responsible to keep track & progress of the projects and present the same to the Senior Management & Clients on a weekly /fortnightly / monthly basis.
• Driving and responsible for integration and system testing and User Acceptance Tests
• Develop procedures for changing scope and project acceptance procedures
• Monitor the status of the technical resources and tasks
• Provide metrics to management regarding project health, costs, efforts, defects
• Should guide the team technically.
• Lead multiple projects, team of software professionals & QA, Ensuring the success of the project, Requirements gathering & Client Management.
• Would be a single point of contact for the client and will be responsible to build an effective communication channel amongst the various client point contacts.
• Ability to independently manage a team of 15 to 20 resources.
• Contribute to revenue recognition and realization in terms of billing and invoicing.

Additional Skills:

• Excellent Project management Experience
• Strong background in Web Technologies / Mobile.
• Very good understanding on software application Development Life Cycle Models.
• PMP or other project management training/certification would be an added advantage.
• Good Interpersonal, Leadership and Project coordination skills are mandatory.
• Candidate should have good analytical and communication skills. To ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables is a default expectation.
